1) Trim wick to ¼ inch or 0.6 cm before each lighting.
2) Place on a heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.
3) Keep away from drafts and walls.
4) Burn at least 2 to 3 hours for first use.
5) Afterwards, burn no longer than 3 hours at a time.
6) Discontinue use when ½ inch or 1.3 cm of wax remains.
