1) Burn at least 2 to 3 hours for first use.
2) Afterwards, burn no more than 3 hours at a time.
3) Trim wick to ¼ inch, or 0.6 cm, prior to each lighting.
4) Place on a heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.
5) Keep away from drafts and walls.
6) Discontinue use when ½ inch, or 1.3 cm, of wax remains.
