Diptyque's 34 collection this year is set to stun
Every time Diptyque unleashes a limited edition collection of the most sublime, decadent kind (is there any other?), it has everyone oohing and aahing at the exquisite fragrances and gorgeous candles. This year's Collection 34 is this, but amped up and propelled to new heights of dreaminess end emotions.
The collection pays homage to the aesthetic of the first store created by founders Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coulesant, who decked out the original upholstery fabrics with their own artistic finds, from glass bead necklaces to bespoke potpourri. True to this spirit, this year's collection is akin to a grand bazaar filled with unique objects that evoke emotion and nostalgia.

One testament to this is the Kimonanthe perfume, encased in cracked glass and a resin top emblematic of Gautrot's beaded necklaces. The Cristaux candle looks absolutely divine, with a mouth blown case that creates a kaleidoscopic effect with the flame. Also unmissable are the Carrousel candles, with metal birds floating above as a nod to Desmond's love for kitschy decorations, and the iconic Essences Insensées fragrance, dedicated to the May Rose grown in Grasse.
